Miscellany pertaining to the word file of recent American English [manuscript] 1935-1972.

The file, compiled circa 1935-72, consists of slips and clippings containing newly coined words or new usages for old ones. There is also a final copy of the word file "A through Calico Brush." There also bunches of clippings by category such as "Army Navy," and "carnival" which were to be a suplement and miscellaneous books, manuscripts and clippings culled for unusual words.
